Large, black, deadly, and beautiful. The King's castle centers itself in the middle of the Scorched Lands. Around it is dead, inside its walls is lush green, water, and beautiful works of art. The stones that make up the castle are onyx black, but in some places decorated with gold. Many think that because of the placement of such a masterpiece in such a dead land that whoever lives there is evil, this is not always true.

A forever growing ground of green. The trees here are so spread out that they provide little cover, but there are plenty of large rocks and masses of bushes to take cover in or under. Rain here is almost daily whether it be heavy or just a mist, so it keeps the ground very moist.

The largest city in all of the Sonbarie Kingdom. Located in the Plains, it is mainly where merchants come to trade and sell, though it is home to hundreds of people. There is a north, south, east, and west entrance into the city, all have huge iron gates and guards to guard them and the towering white walls surrounding them. Heaven's Gates is one of the main cities that are usually the first to be attacked in wars.

A dense forest, populated by hundreds of different species. A crystal clear river weaves it's way around trees and boulders before taking a thunderous leap off a cliff down towards the plains below.

Steep hills rise up from the flat plains to mighty points and extreme heights in some places. The tree line runs their length around these mighty mountains, dense in between the plains and the mountain peaks. No matter what season it is, the trees here always have deep brown-gold bark, and bright gold leaves. They never fall from their branches. The mountains form a large circle. Inside that circle, the Mother Tree lives, as well as an independent race of elves along with other magical creatures that tend to their forest. The mountains border part of the plains and the Scorched Lands.

The elven lands of Valituer. They keep to themselves and haven't been seen anywhere else on the island in 100 years. The only way to get into their lands is to either fly over the large mountains or take the cave entrance that lies more west than north of Heaven's Gates across the Crystal River. They dislike visitors and even if you do make the long ride to the cave, chances of you making it through are slim. They guard the Mother Tree, which leaves tower above even the highest point of the Goldweaver's Mountains.

The Marsh Lands are home to a wide variety of species and the Sister Tree. From the outside, this place looks like any old swamp, but the further you go... the more magical it gets. Within the Marsh Lands is the Blue Delta. The Blue Deltas gets its name from the giant glowing blue flowers that grow in the area.
