After the Big Bang, many worlds were created, Albanar was one of them. On this small, water populated planet at the farthest reaches of space, strange beings were created. To the world now, they call them Gods, but before them… they did not know what to call themselves. There were 6 gods to begin with, and with their combined power, they created what is known as the Sonbarie Kingdom. Six islands rose out from the depths of the water, one for each of the gods to do as they wish to them. From the gods, they created six families, one to rule each island and after that, more creatures were made, from deer to dragons.
The Dragomires of Valituer (Dragons)
Pheonuxs of the Islands of Alter (Pheonix)
Serpients of Alquer (Snakes)
Roedors of Talenquine (Rodents)
Cabalians of Duer (Horses)
Demians of Death's Island (Dark creatures)
Each was ordered to protect their own island, care for it, help it flourish with life and humanity. Each family represented a species of animal designed for that certain place:
The Dragomires of Valituer (Dragons)
- Family Marking: Red dragon wings that start upon the back just beside the shoulder blades. They travel up the back and over the top of the shoulders, the wing tips rest upon the chest.
Pheonuxs of the Islands of Alter (Pheonix)
- Family Marking: There is no skin marking, but their eyes are always that of the color of fire.
Serpients of Alquer (Snakes)
- Family Marking: A long dull green snake whose tail starts just above the wrist of the right arm and spirals its way up the arm, it's head resting over the shoulder
Roedors of Talenquine (Rodents)
- Family Marking: V shaped markings upon the forehead. They are not that noticeable unless one should look close enough, they are just slightly lighter than the person's skin color, almost like a scar.
Cabalians of Duer (Horses)
- Family Marking: A hoof print marking, dull blue-gray in color upon either the right or left hand.
Demians of Death's Island (Dark creatures)
- Family Marking:Since these beings are often demons or other dark creatures, it is normally quite easy to tell them apart from a crowd. They do bare facial markings however. A dark grey curved, thick line that almost looks like a crescent moon, is placed over the left eye, the curve of it facing inwards.
Each was ordered to protect their own island, care for it, help it flourish with life and humanity. Each family represented a species of animal designed for that certain place:
- Dragomire(s) were the dragons that ruled the land and skies of Valituer. They are often very just and calm and never quick to judge a person. They are fair fighters and dislike relying on their magic to win.
- The Pheonux(s), with their magic, where those of the pheonix and other species of magical birds of the Islands of Alter. The family members often teach students at the academy. Their world revolves around magic, it is not wise to disobey them.
- Serpeint(s) of Alquer were snakes, large and small alike. Most are quick to judge and jump to conclusions. When it comes to fights, they’ll use whatever tricks they have up their sleeve to win. They’re sly and sneaky, and just overall nasty beings.
- Roedor(s), or the rodents of Talenquine, rule the grasslands and are reserved and shy beings. They avoid wars, but will gladly aide their friends. Even though their shifted forms are small, they take great pride in who and what they are and will gladly throw sarcastic remarks towards anyone who belittles them.
- Cabalian(s) of Duer where ungulates, specifically horses, capable of moving fast across the plains. They are powerful beings and have no problem showing it off. They are very proud, and their honor means more than their life to them.
- Finally, the Demain(s); demons of Death's Island, first designed as powerful beings to help, soon became corrupted, polluting their island in its own dark world. They take joy in teasing humans who wash up on their shores. The sea around this island is rough and chaotic, as if controlled by magic since the rest of the sea is usually calm.
